“We are trying to teach our toddler son French and have found this DVD set so helpful. He has been listening to French children’s songs since he was six months and truly appears to have an interest in it. Seeing it on a screen with other children and the animation has heightened that interest. He will stop what he is doing and watch the DVDs. We watch one a day with him and participate along with Pim in saying each word, not just with the DVD but also around the house.”

When I learned that there was a foreign language learning DVD with the Pimsleur name attached, I bought the 3-pack set without blinking an eye. I wasn’t disappointed!
Little Pim is designed specifically for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and their parents. It uses immersion and interaction in a fun and engaging way with a cute little animated panda, named Pim, as the main character who guides the learning. Each learning section starts with Pim in a short animated skit, then transitions to real children going through everyday activities that are narrated by Pim. The voice of Pim is crisp and clear and the quality of the video is superb.
I“ve bought a lot of French language learning DVDs, and none come close to Little Pim. My (almost) three year old really likes the little panda and his bamboo soup, or should I say, “soupe du bamboo” :-), and just this morning at breakfast, used a phrase from one of the DVDs.
I would highly recommend this DVD set to anyone interested in teaching their toddlers and preschoolers a foreign language.

“My 2 year old son loves to watch this series. We’ve had it for a month now and he still asks for it daily. He’s said one word in Spanish so far, but I think is really taking it in. Although I speak Spanish almost fluently, I don’t know where to begin with teaching my son so I think this is a good beginning. It’s far better than some other programs I’ve seen which are either boring or just a word here or there so they don’t learn much. I’d like to try the other languages too.”

“Little Pim is a one-of-a-kind tool. Our son’s French has risen to new levels thanks to the video’s savvy use of vocabulary, animation, and real-life situations. It makes learning fun, and gets real results. In fact our son’s first full sentences in French were thanks to Little Pim!”

“I put in Little Pim for my son for a few minutes, and he began repeating phrases. One of his favorites is ‘hasta pronto!’ This is really remarkable, since no one speaks Spanish in our home. He says these words with the same confidence and ease as if it were his first language.”

“My son is 2.5 and has taken a few Mandarin classes. He loves this DVD, and it’s such fun to watch him speaking to the television and repeating the words. I don’t speak any Chinese at all, and can hardly make out the words, but he has no problem at all. He’s really actively involved rather than simply watching passively, and he loves the antics of the panda.”

“Eating and Drinking held my daughters attention from the moment I turned it on. After viewing it for about 15 minutes, Samantha responded “Bonsoir” to the panda at the end of the video. She has been asking to see it again ever since. I’m impressed with how easily she has started speaking a language she has never heard before.”

My daughter started watching your Little Pim series in Spanish recently. The pace of the video is wonderful, and educational in a fun, very interactive way. Abby asks for the disc with ‘mi bolsa’ most frequently and wants to know where Little Pim went when he is not on the screen. Thank you for making Little Pim.

“I have three children and they all hear Spanish regularly thanks to our nanny, whom we have always encouraged to use her native language. Over the years, we’ve tried several language programs including Muzzy to supplement this exposure, but none of them offered Little Pim’s frequent vocabulary review. I find this format makes Little Pim so much more effective than what is currently out there. We also think Little Pim is perfect for long car rides.”

“I am so pleased with this product! I got it for my daughter; we both have a lot of fun learning French together. I’m so surprised how easy your product has made it for me to pick the language up since I have no experience with any foreign language. My husband and I started with “Signing Time” at 6 months. It has been helpful for us to supplement one with the other, signing and then pronouncing the objects in French. Thank you for providing us with this valuable resource!”
