Julia Pimsleur is the CEO of Million Dollar Women and author of the best-selling Million Dollar Women: The Essential Guide for Female Entrepreneurs Who Want to Go Big (Simon & Schuster). Pimsleur is the Founder and former CEO of Little Pim, the leading language teaching program for young children. Little Pim has won 25 awards and features the proprietary Entertainment Immersion Method®. Pimsleur is the daughter of language teaching pioneer, Dr. Paul Pimsleur, as well as an award-winning filmmaker and mother of two. She has raised over $26M in Angel, Venture and philanthropic dollars and blogs for about entrepreneurship.

Pimsleur runs the online Million Dollar Women Academy to help more women entrepreneurs raise capital and get their businesses to $1M in revenues. When she is not speaking or coaching, Pimsleur can be found kicking a soccer ball in the Central Park with her two boys under the age of 12. She lives in Manhattan, speaks French and Italian and is an avid scuba diver. She is fluent in French and conversational in Spanish and Italian.


Carolyn Fikke enjoyed an over 18-year career as an investment banker on Wall Street, specializing in the retail and consumer products industry. She worked primarily with middle market companies and has extensive experience in public offerings and private placements of debt and equity securities, mergers and acquisitions, and financial advisory engagements.

She is a member of Golden Seeds, an angel capital investment firm, and serves on the Board of Little Pim Corporation.

JOSH REIBEL, Board member

Josh Reibel is CEO of Amplify Insight and Amplify Learning. Amplify is an education software and services firm owned by News Corp that provides curriculum, assessment, data and analytics, and professional services to K-12 school systems. Amplify was formed after News Corp acquired Wireless Generation in late 2010 where Mr. Reibel had served as President and Chief Operating Officer for 10 years. In his current role, Josh oversees strategy and operations for two of Amplify’s three divisions. The company serves approximately 4 million students and 200,000 educators across all 50 states and is making unprecedented investments in digital innovation for the future of K-12 teaching and learning. Prior to his posts at Wireless and Amplify, Mr. Reibel served as Vice President for Parent Services at, a division of Kaplan delivering online educational services to parents of young children. Prior to his time at, Mr. Reibel was Associate Director of the Institute for Learning Technologies at Teachers College Columbia University, where he also studied as the Ben D. Wood Fellow in Communications, Computing and Technology in Education. Josh began his career as a high school English and Philosophy teacher. He holds an AB degree from Harvard and MA and Ed.M. Degrees from Columbia. Mr. Reibel currently serves on the Columbia Journalism Review Board of Overseers.


Natasha Miller is the CEO of Little Pim. She is leading the team in developing new methods to reach millennial parents during a time when it’s more important than ever to raise bilingual or even multilingual children in our increasingly global world.

Natasha brings to Little Pim strong digital and social media marketing experience. Until recently, she was the Director of Marketing at GiftFly, an online gift card platform focused on local businesses. Her previous experience includes launching an entertainment daily deal site, launching a lifestyle brand, and agency work. She is a highly creative marketer who comes from an entrepreneurial family. Natasha experienced first-hand the benefits of growing up in a multilingual household, learning English and Gujarati simultaneously. She quickly grew passionate about educating new parents and early education teachers about the many benefits of multilingual exposure at an early age.

STUART FARR, Board Member

Stuart Farr is currently President of Deltix, Inc. a provider of software and services for quantitative trading. Prior to his position at Deltix, Mr. Farr was the co-founder of Beauchamp Financial Technology (BFT), which he sold in 2005 to Linedata Services. He began his career by advising farmers on business planning. After several years of producing financial plans and accounts by hand, he taught himself a software package and developed an application to do this.

After studying for a Masters in this field, he then joined a software firm that developed applications for banks and brokerages. He advanced this career at NatWest Markets and Credit Suisse First Boston before co-founding a financial technology firm, Beauchamp Financial Technology (BFT) in 1998. Here Stuart worked as CEO, successfully expanding it from its base in London to a global operation with additional offices in New York, Hong Kong and Riga and a global basis of hedge fund clients.

Today, he acts as director/advisor to three companies: one in hedge fund services, two (including Little Pim) in digital and print media. Mr. Farr still oversees the family farm, and he lives in New York with his wife and seven-year old daughter.

Stuart has a BSc in Agriculture from Newcastle University and an MSc in Technology from South Bank University.
